- Berkeley Street Theatre is a venue belonging to the prestigious Canadian Stage Company. The building dates back to 1887 when it was a gas pumping station. Renovated and upgraded in 1971 it now comprises of two levels. The Upstairs and Downstairs Theatre can seat 167 and 244 respectively. While the Downstairs Theatre has a balcony, the Upstairs Theatre is a black box theater. Both theaters have excellent technical specifications that comprise of high tech audio and visual equipments.
