Description:
The house rule at this small local chain is that after 7 minutes, a pot of coffee is no longer fresh. This place takes the bean seriously. In addition to the wide range of coffees, you can order focaccia sandwiches, tarts, cookies, and pastries. There are outposts at 441 Queen St. (at Spadina Ave.; tel. 416/592-1360), and at the corner of Bloor and Bathurst, tucked into the beloved Honest's Ed's emporium.
