  • Description:

    • Newly renamed TIFF Cinematheque, this affiliate program of the Toronto International Film Festival is famous for bringing the best in Canadian and international film to Toronto audiences.
      In just ten months (the program runs from mid-October to mid-August each year), TIFF Cinematheque screens up to 395 films.  Special retrospective, national and regional, and thematic spotlights give the TIFF Cinematheque roster special appeal: featuring both contemporary and important historical works, patrons can access some of the most significant films in world cinema, past and present.
      All screenings are held in the AGO's Jackman Hall unless otherwise noted; schedules and descriptions are available online.
