Description:
When restaurants make the claim of having "something for everyone," I usually run the other way. But the HotHouse Cafe is an exception. The exhaustive menu ranges from salads to pizzas, omelets to pastas, and burgers to vegetarian mains, and they do a nice job with it all. (Don't expect complicated fare here, though; the HotHouse keeps things simple.) The restaurant is famous for its Sunday buffet brunch, which, at C$18 (£9) per person, is a good value if you're in the mood to indulge. There are made-to-order omelet stations, lots of options, and live jazz music.

stale food

This used to be my Sunday brunch spot but over the years the food has been going downhill. Sometimes the meat tastes as though it was refrigerated and then reheated.

Great little lunch place
-
Great little place to grab lunch. They have plenty of homemade hot foods available (ex: mac and cheese), salads, sandwiches, soups, etc. I find their sides to be a little pricey though.
