Description:
The Québécois butterfly has migrated to new digs, but they're just steps away from the old location on Church Street. If you think crepes are simply for breakfast, stop by Le Papillon and think again. While you'll find many fruit-filled numbers, the best are savory crepes, which combine, for example, bacon, apples, and cheddar. Created from a mixture of white and buckwheat flour, the crepes make a satisfying lunch. For dinner, add some onion soup and a green salad, or go for tourtière, a traditional Québécois pie that includes beef, veal, and pork. Note that by the time you read this guide, Le Papillon will have a second location in the Beaches at 1001 Eastern Avenue.
