Dream in High Park

• The Dream in High Park is essentially Shakespeare in the park. Every year, from the end of June through the beginning of September, Canadian Stage presents a production of Shakespeare in an outdoor amphitheatre in High Park. The show is specially designed to appeal to all ages, so it's a great choice for a family outing. Shows are Tuesdays through Sundays at 8:00pm, and audience members are welcome to bring blankets and a picnic. There is a concessions stand selling snacks on site, as well as amenities such as pay phones and toilets. Gates open at 6:00pm and patrons are advised to arrive early to secure a good spot, particularly if you're brining any kind of chair or stool, as those are only permitted in a specific area which fills up quickly. Admission is by donation, with a suggested minimum donation of $20 for adults.
