• If you're into knitting or crochet or anything involving wool at all, Romni Wools is a must-see. Located in the trendy Queen West neighbourhood, not far from Trinity-Bellwoods Park, Romni has two floors packed literally to the rafters with a rainbow assortment of different wools. They have yarn made of linen, and corn, and milk, and goodness knows what else. They have a variety of needles and patterns and other paraphernalia. And in the basement, they have spinning wheels and spindles and raw wool, and a whole corner packed with discounted wool. You may have to turn sideways to fit down some of the aisles, but it is definitely worth a nosey down there for some great deals.
