Description:
- Spadina (pronounced Spad-ee-na, unlike the street which is pronounced Spad-eye-na) House is one of Toronto's lesser known museums. Conveniently located around the corner from Casa Loma, Spadina is a look into life in Toronto during the 1920s and '30s both above and below stairs. There are more than five acres of gardens, which include an orchard and a kitchen garden as well as more ornamental areas. There are several tours on offer, covering both family life in the house and more architectural details about the building itself. There is also a tour geared specifically for children called "It's a Kid's Life."
