- Close to the Toulouse-Blagnac airport, Hôtel d'application d'Occitanie is open to public only from October to May, only on weekdays and not around the holidays. Is this a strange hotel? Yes and no. In fact, a hotel d'application is actually a school. Guests are welcomed and served by students, supervised by their teachers, and tested in a "real life" context. Three suites and 17 rooms (two of which are adapted to disabled guests) are available. All have phone and TV, a private bathroom. Of course, this type of accommodation is not very flexible, but it definitely is a very unique way of discovering the French hotel industry… backstage for a pretty reasonable price.
