Description:

  • In the landmark center at Queen's Park Savannah, this upmarket restaurant in a restored colonial home is the island nation's finest Asian restaurant, specializing in the regional fare of Thailand. Refined dishes are beautifully served in an elegant, luxuriant, and tasteful setting, especially if you select a table on the patio. The kitchen makes the most of excellent ingredients, fashioning them into subtle dishes like red-curry chicken in coconut milk or stir-fried lobster with spring onions. Our favorite dish is the steamed mussels in a clay pot with fresh herbs such as lemon grass. If you're with a large party, you can order a selection of hors d'oeuvres that are full of zest and flavor. Many dishes are very spicy, filled with fiery chilies, but there are also milder choices.

User Reviews for Tamnak Thai

  •

    Very good food and ambience

  • Thoroughly enjoyed the food and the setting. Ate outside which was lovely but the mosquitoes can be a problem on legs and feet, so take bug spray.
