Description:
- The Hanuman Murti is located in Carapichaima and is properly sign-posted from the highway exit. It is an 85-foot statue of a Hindu God that took two years to be completed and consecrated in 2003. The colorful structure of deep red and pink shows the monkey general called Hanuman. The murti refers to the image of the deity and is said to be the tallest statue of Hanuman outside of India. It sits majestically near a temple and yoga center. It's an amazing sight to see set against the backdrop of the Caribbean blue sky, and there are no admissions fees. - Nadia Ali
