Rashaya al wadi

    • Rashaya al-Wadi is one of the oldest towns in Lebanon with a rich history; it lies just below Jabal al-Sheikh, which the Bible refers to as Mount Hermon. - It is also known for the number of water courses that feed the river Jordan, and the numerous religious associations. Rashaya al-Wadi serves as the center for 25 villages and towns of the qada of Rashaya, which extends over 7,700 acres of land, almost one-tenth of Lebanon's total area. However, only 8,000 people live there.
