- The Squeeze In has been serving up some of the best breakfast fare in Truckee since 1974...and shows no signs of slowing down. With 62 varieties of omelette on the menu, enthusiastic waitstaff and an early opening hour, this funky establishment will help you fortify yourself for the day's activities, whether they include skiing, snowboarding, rafting, hiking or boating. The walls are covered with customers' comments, graffiti and initials, and plastered with Tahoe memorabilia. They close after lunch (2pm), and early visitors will be rewarded with a shorter wait time.Along with the "best omelettes in the world," they also serve traditional breakfast items and a variety of burgers, sandwiches, burritos and salads.

I love this place. It is pricey, but I go all the time anyway. The place is eclectic and welcoming and the servers are super nice. Not to mention, the plates are huge and taste amazing!
