• El Parador bills itself as a "tropical restaurant," but this has more to do with the lush, garden decor: the menu is largely straightforward Mexican. Although the expansive "Gourmet Mexican Latino Cuisine" menu may be a bit dizzying at first, take a deep breath and opt for the classics, which are usually a good bet. The chips and salsa are usually quite good, and the colorful ambiance--which features over-sized tropical foliage growing indoors--is definitely an eyeful.
