San Pedro River
- Type: Hiking | Outside the City
- Tagged as: for nature lovers
Our Tucson Local Expert says:
Birding is San Pedro's the main attraction, but the area is also rich in history. There are several nearly forgotten ghost towns and mine sites hidden in the dense mesquites along the river. The two best places to access the river are at the ghost town of Fairbanks on Highway 82 and at the San Pedro House on Highway 90.
