Three Days with Kids

Description:

Tucson has a lot to offer kid's if the adults in their lives can keep up. Each day is busy and arranged roughly by geographic area. The Westward is one of the more kid friendly resorts in town. For the most part, the restaurants listed cater to adults, but each has very child-friendly offerings. There are Magpies Pizza places all over town so finding one near wherever you are shouldn't be too difficult. Kingfisher doesn't have a kids menu written down, but your server will be able to rattle off an impressive list of kid-friendly offerings, including mac and cheese and one of the better burgers in town.

Day 1 - Tucson

The International Wildlife Museum is on the way to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum and Old Tucson so it's a good place to hit first follow by the others in that order. Ironwood Terraces has decent offerings for kids and adults. The Flandrau Science Center is a good place to spend the evening.

Day 2 - Tucson

Sabino Canyon is best either first thing in the morning or late in the day, especially during the hot months. Trail Dust Town and Golf N'Stuff are next door to either other and a 15 minute drive from Sabino Canyon. The Eclectic Cafe is in-between and a good place for breakfast and/or lunch. The Dakota Cafe is in Trail Dust Town and so a good place for dinner.
