Tunis though is your base to exploring the country, and that means finding a good, comforting place to sleep off your adventures, and it can offer you quite the different experience than the Western world. Five-stars aren't exactly five-stars, and cute hotels are hardly to be found, but if you want to experience something completely different, Tunis is a good place to start.
