- Principal theatre of the capital Tunis. Previously called Casino Municipal de Tunis. it is one of the rare Art Nouveau style theatres in the world. It was Conceived by architect Jean Emile Resplandy built by italian promoters, so it combines italian perfect technique and french raffinement,It was La bonboniere- the name it was given due to its oval form, was inaugurated in 1902, renewed in 1909 in order to increase its size, from 856 to 1350. The best actors and music performers have performed here.
