Pompa Magna

Description:

  • If you visit Asti, one of the largest towns of the Piedmont region located at about 50 kilometers southeast of Turin, you might want to try the spumante or some other well-known local wine. Housed in the basement-vaulted rooms of an ancient Asti palace, Pompa Magna is a wine shop and a restaurant offering both a fish menu or typical dishes from the Piedmontese tradition. It also proposes a carefully selected choice of wines from all Italian regions. The wine list obviously includes many first-rate references to well-known Piedmontese red wines: Barbera, Barbaresco, Barolo and Freisa d'Asti. - Maria Frullini
