The Best of NileGuide
- Things to do in Vail, you ask? Skiing? Snowboarding? Spa treatment? Resort escaping? Mountain partying? Vail was the definition Ski Bum town in the 70's. Small, quaint, and a mountain free of the corporation. Needless to say, Vail has perfectly cut trails on a beautiful mountain with absurdly large Back Bowls, and the outpost of Blue Sky Basin. Well...what are you waiting for?! Get out there and go ski! In the summer, Vail also does the mountain biking and summer sport thing. Just be sure to be off the mountain by 4 p.m. Thunderstorms tend to be quite intense at 11,500 feet. But you'll feel like you're in a whole other land with the rolling green meadows and mountain flowers surrounding you.
