  • Grab your best costume (and appetite) and head to Vail Village for the Valley's Marti Gras celebration. You can warm yourself up with a low country-style crawfish boil, head to the streets for a masquerade bar crawl, or sit back and enjoy the parade on Fat Tuesday itself. If you long for some good Cajun and Creole cuisine, many restaurants in the area participate in the "Taste of New Orleans", a celebration of that city's distinctive flavor (with proceeds going to families affected by Hurricane Katrina). Be sure to stick around after the parade for many more festival events, live music, and great food.
