• The Dockside is located in the Granville Island Hotel and looks out across False Creek to Yaletown and Burnaby Mountain far in the distance. The grub's not much to write about, but the beer is among the best in town -- brewed-on-the-premises lagers, ales, and porters. Even with the overhead gas heaters on chillier evenings, it's a good idea not to arrive too late: An hour or two after the sun goes down, the mostly 30-something patrons remember that they have homes to go to.
