Middle Eastern cuisine is varied and incredibly full of flavor that pops with each bite you take. The flavors range depending on the geographical location and that's what makes this cuisine so special.

Nuba has long been a favorite to Vancouverites and it's really for a number of reasons. Firstly, the quality of the food your getting is top notch, they only use free range meats. They cater to vegans, vegetarians and omnivores so it's the perfect place to go that will please all of your friends. The price point is fantastic too and you will leave completely stuffed after eating one of their plates, but your wallet will still be full. Due to their overwhelming success, they have opened up a number of locations across town and this bodes well when you're having a Nuba craving.

East is East is a fantastic place to go when you're in dire need of comfort food. The atmosphere is so relaxing and that in itself makes this a great spot to go and sit down and enjoy a cup of chai, followed by any of their delicious items. They are also really great when it comes to catering to vegetarians and meat eaters.

The Afghan Horseman is like dinner and a show on the weekend because they bring in a belly dancer to entertain diners. It's a fantastic place to book for large groups and the platters are ideal for sharing. There's also a special room of low tables and cushions to sit on, which makes for a very unique dining experience.

You can't come to Vancouver without trying one of Vij's restaurants. If you have the time and money, stand in line and enjoy dinner at Vij's. The lamb popsicles are drool-worthy! If you're looking to conserve your funds and make the most of your time in Vancouver, Rangoli is the perfect spot. It's right beside Vij's, but there's rarely a wait and you can even pick up frozen entrees to bring home and heat.

If you're looking for an Indian date night with your special someone, Maurya Indian Cuisine is a lovely spot. Everything from the decor to the food create a perfect atmosphere to enjoy a delicious evening with your other half.
