When you're in the heart of Vancouver, you're close to pretty much most of the major attractions in the city. There are of course those hidden gems that are off the beaten path, but a large majority of them are accessible by water ferry, bus, Skytrain, Canada Line, taxi, Seabus or the old fashioned way, your legs.
On a beautiful sunny day, there's no better way to explore the city than on the Seawall with a bicycle, a pair of roller blades or a stroll. While on the Seawall, you will eventually hit Stanley Park and there's an endless amount of fun to be had there that can easily keep you busy for a few days. Within the park is the Vancouver Aquarium, one of the city's best attractions by far and it's a fun place for both adults and children. Explore the trails, the totem poles, Third Beach and the water park along the way. There's also a beautiful rose garden and the foliage changes on regular basis, which is lovely because it's always so colorful and fragrant.
The Lookout is a fantastic way to get one of the best views in Vancouver. Located right in the heart of the city, it makes it a great spot to start off or end a date with a magical view.
The Police Museum is high on the list of attractions in Vancouver and is definitely worth a visit there. Learn about the city's police history and even check out some evidence from real crime scenes. Did we mention it's in the city's old morgue?
