  • It's easy to stick around to the main streets around Vancouver to find tasty place to eat, but there are plenty of gems scattered throughout the city that are sure to delight your taste buds.

Most people have heard the praises sung about Vij's, but it's not a place your wallet can afford to go over and over. Fortunately, Rangoli, its sister restaurant is right beside Vij's and they serve some of the best Indian in Vancouver.

Salt Tasting Room is nestled in Blood Alley, but dont' let the name scare you away! Salt is a lovely little place where you can enjoy charcuterie and wine.

The Alibi Room isn't right in the hub of Gastown's busy area, but it's only a short walk away and they have some of the best beer and eats in the city, if you're looking for casual fare.

Go Fish! draw the crowds and it's easy to spot when you see the long line-up. It's quite close to Granville Island, but other than that, it stands on its own. The fish tacos are fantastic here!

Au Petit Chavignol is on East Hastings and you shouldn't let this deter you from going. It's definitely a cab right away from the city, but it's well worth the trip; the cheese induced coma is heavenly.
