Description:
This is Vancouver's only resort hotel with its own marina, and the views from all but a handful of its rooms are stunning. The Bayshore overlooks Coal Harbour and Stanley Park on one side, and Burrard Inlet and the city on the other. Rooms in the original 1961 building have been refurbished with classic-looking decor and floor-to-ceiling windows that open wide. In the newer tower, the rooms are a bit larger and have narrow balconies. The bathrooms in both buildings are nicely finished but fairly small. The heated outdoor pool is reputedly the largest in North America; there's even a second indoor pool plus a full gym. Children receive their own welcome package.
