• Little Nest was started in 2007 by Mary Macintyre who wanted to create a place where adults could bring their children and feel at home. Not only is Mary the owner, but she's also the pastry chef and people flock to Little Nest to eat some of her scrumptious baked goods. Little Nest is in the Commercial Drive area and has had a tremendous amount of success and has loyal followers that bring their families for breakfast, lunch or tea. All the their coffee is fairtrade and organic and they use as much local, fresh and organic ingredients as they can in their delicious food. The menu changes often, but one thing that remains the same is that it's a peanut free environment. There are few places that are so welcoming to small children and Little Nest has managed to create an environment that encourages family and community, while serving delicious food.
