NileGuide Expert Says:
On a sunny day in Vancouver, you cannot beat The Mill Marine Bistro & Bar patio. It is the place to be.
Description:
- The Mill Marine Bistro & Bar is perched on Vancouver's Seawall and offers one of the city's best views of the mountains and North Vancouver. The red umbrellas shade you from the warm Summer sun and the cold drinks will quench your thirst. Even on a cloudy day, The Mill Marine Bistro & Bar is a lovely place to go. The 60-seat restaurant is cozy, inviting and the perfect spot to warm up. Not only is it a great spot for people watching, it boasts an extensive drink list and menu. Unlike most pubs, The Mill Marine Bistro & Bar does not serve fried foods, instead they put an emphasis on fresh and seasonal ingredients. When in British Columbia, seafood is where it's at. Especially when you're literally right next to the ocean. The Mill Marine Bistro & Bar's Rock Crab Quesadilla makes an excellent starter to share, but will fill you up as a main. Many of Vancouver's restaurants serve stellar mussels and The Mill Marine Bistro & Bar is no exception. All four kinds of mussels are delicious, but Delilah's Famous Mussels aren't "famous" for no reason. There is something on the menu that will please every palate, from pizza, salad, pasta and burgers - everyone in your group will leave satisfied.

nice lunch stop during a walk

This is a nice place to stop while en route to Stanley Park - the prices are reasonable and the pulled pork pizza was delicious. Good microbrews as well.
