Description:

  • American sugar baron BT Rogers built this Victorian stone manor in 1900. Originally, it had 18 fireplaces with self-cleaning flues and an ice-cooled pantry. The wall panels are made from oak while the floors are laid with Fijian teak. Located in the West End, it has a stained-glass window with seashells and wildflowers adorning the framework that towers over the staircase from the main anteroom. The mansion also has a walk-in humidor and a wrought-iron fence made from the balconies of the old San Francisco city hall.
