The Pacific Museum of the Earth

Description:

  • The Pacific Museum of the Earth is a good place to discover the wonders of our dynamic planet, from the molten core to the outer reaches of the atmosphere, from earthquakes and volcanoes to tsunamis and mass extinctions. Displays include a genuine dinosaur skeleton, a tornado machine, live earthquake data from around British Columbia, and a "Vault" of valuable crystals and gems. Admission and programming is by donation. Explore on your own, or experience a guided tour or hands on activity, available by appointment.
