Affordable winter clothes in Vancouver area?
I'm traveling to Vancouver in December and since it will be winter, I will need winter clothes. Please recommend a good place where I can buy jackets and waterproof clothes for men. Thanks.

Dear Jamie - While you are in Vancouver there are two excellent places to obtain weatherproof gear. The first is the Hudson Bay Company, now known simply as The Bay. They have numerous outlets throughout Vancouver, and the great thing about them is their return policy. If you discover your purchase does not satisfy you, simply return it with your paperwork and they will exchange, or refund your purchase. The second option is the Mountain Equipment Coop, known as MEC. With the buying power of over two million Canadians, this cooperative offers many great deals. Membership is inexpensive and they have many name brands in the weatherproof clothing department.
