If you're interested in experiencing the slopes, but not necessarily skiing, there are plenty of other activities you can do in Whistler Village, or even on Grouse. On Grouse, you can go skating, snowshoeing or just take the gondola up and enjoy the views and perhaps some lunch. In Whistler, you can go dog-sledding or just wander around the Village and enjoy the atmosphere.

If you're looking to do some indoor activities that won't involve any strain on your knee, the Vancouver Aquarium in Stanley Park is such a great way to spend a couple of hours. If weather is in your favor, a walk through Gastown and throughout the city is great too. Granville Island is also an enjoyable way to spend a day.

Are there certain things that you're into more than others? If so, please let me know and I can make a few more suggestions.
