Moving to Vancouver. Any advice?
I plan to move to Vancouver for good. I am recently living in San Diego and will be moving by mid-October. Can anyone please tell me what to expect of vancouver? The people, the place, the weather, etc. I need to know so that I can prepare myself mentally. Thank you and i really appreciate your advice.

The people are generally pretty laid back, the weather is mild in the winter (but there is great skiing nearby) and can be wet and rainy much of the year. Vancouver is a great city with lots of fun things to do, from museums to cultural events. The city itself is between the Pacific Ocean and the Mountains and surrounded by forest, so if you love the outdoors, it's pure heaven.
