only have a 5 hour stay in vancouver, what can I do that is close to the airport

To be honest, there isn't that much to do near the airport, as it's kind of far away from everything (last time I had a layover, my family came to me while I waited).
The Fairmont Vancouver Airport has a nice Jetside Bar and a good restaurant, and you can always wander the airport.
