Music in Venice

  • The Best of NileGuide
  • La Serenissima has music to soothe mind and soul but Venice also has livelier places to enjoy more modern tunes. B-Bar at the Bauer il Palazzo is open from Tuesday through Sunday to provide lucky guests with excellent mixed exotic cocktail creations and entertain them in the evenings with live music and the like. Acclaimed artists play at the Palazzo Barbarigo-Minotto, whose aim is to recreate the aura of "Sallotto Musicale." Piccolo Mondo is often crowded with students - it's very close to the Ca'Foscari campus of Venice University - and they come for DJs and the late closing time. The place is good for a dance or just a chat and a drink. Pachuka is a disco situated on San Nicolo Beach, at the extreme end of the Venice Lido, and, as is true of most Venice nightspots, the clientele here is a mix of students, young professionals and passers-by. From string quartets to the strains of techno-disco, Venice has your style of music on tap every evening.
