  • The restaurant scene in Venice is very strong indeed. The Italians love a lazy, lengthy evening meal and Venice is no stranger to that custom. Ai Gondolieri is an old but famous restaurant that specializes in serving up delicious Venetian dishes. Le Bistrot de Venise is a relaxed spot with a recently expanded dining room offers indoor and outdoor seating, young English-speaking waiters, and a varied, eclectic menu. The owner of La Colombina has a fine establishment made his way to Venice from Sicily, and the result is a delicious combination of southern and northern Italian cuisine. Located on a side street just behind the Basilica of San Marco, Antica Sacrestia is very popular with international actors working in Venice or coming here for the Film Festival. These Venetian restaurant prices include a three course meal for one, at least one glass of wine and taxes and service charges.
