• Like most pizzerie/trattorie, Sandro offers dozens of varieties of pizza (his specialty) as well as a full trattoria menu of pastas and entrees. If you're looking for a 9€ ($12) pizza-and-beer meal, this is a reliably good spot on the main drag linking the Rialto to Campo San Polo. Although Italians are very careful about counting carbs, you won't raise any eyebrows if you order a pasta and pizza and pass on the meat or fish: This city has seen it all. There's communal seating at a few wooden picnic tables placed outdoors, with just a handful of small tables stuffed into the two dining rooms -- which, unusually, are on opposite sides of the street.
