• This drugstore opened its doors in 1919. It is just a few steps off the Museo dell' Accademia. Almost everywhere in Italy, old-fashioned grocery stores have been declining in numbers, but at Poggi's you still can find at least two dozen different virgin honeys (including the golden Dandelion one and the rare bitter Mediterranean Strawberry Tree honey). Poggi offers a huge choice of selected sweet treats: chocolate, biscuits, candies, and pastilles.
