    • Home of famous designer, inventor, fabric manufacturer and photographer Mariano Fortuny, the Museo Fortuny (Fortuny Museum) transports its visitors onto the theatre set which was the life of Mariano Fortuny. Originally from Spain, Mariano Fortuny acquired this palazzo from the incredibly rich family of Pesaro at the beginning of the 20th Century where Fortuny began creating a myriad of designs and objects for the theatre. The original of one of his most famous inventions, the Cupola Fortuny (Fortuny Dome) used in theatrical representations to create the illusion of the sky, can be admired at the Museo Fortuny.
