Public Question Asked by Rachel Vella about Venice
Hi there :)
My boyfriend graduates in december, so my plan was to take him on a christmas trip to Venezia.
I don't want to plan an on-the-go thing, I'd just like to know how best to plan a pleasurable 7 days in Venice over Christmas, just for us two, without having to abandon the whole idea as a faraway dream because of the outrageous prices.
I am wanting to find the best family-run hotel, the best restaurants/food, places we can't not visit, and any other suggestions that may be useful.

Christmas is low season, so you won't spend to much, but it's also the absolute worst time to visit Venice. It's cold and greyish, and lots of shops, restaraunts and so on are closed in december.
If you haven't been here before I'd recommend you to come next spring instead.
Should you decide to come to Venice anyway, I'll be glad to help you with any suggestion and recommendation as it is my job, as a personal concierge and personal shopping assistant,

Hi, if you want we run a family B&b in the outskirt of Venice (reachable in 20 minutes by bus) www.faronhof.com,very competitive prices and also I run tours of the city, but not as a professional tour guide, but more on a friendly sort of way.I run tours of the cafes, bars, osterie of the City, a ghost tour ecc.
