Introduction
Ventimiglia is a quiet and somewhat unremarkable Italian town 11km (6 3/4 miles) from the French border and only minutes from Bordighera and San Remo. Although the town holds little of particular interest, the surrounding coast and hills boast a few of the most interesting sights along this stretch of coastline.
