The Question
Public Question Asked by Asta St about Verona
Hi! What would you recommend to see/do in Verona for 1 day stay. What about parking?
Thanx in advance!
Hello everybody. Could you help with advice. Next friday we will be coming from Milan (driving with car) and will have only one day to stay in Verona. Any suggestions for good tour with map? short, informative, with most attractions? What about parking? Later we will be heading to Udine. Any cozy and economic budget sleeping place on that side? Thank you in advance for any answers!

For a 1 day visit I would suggest to see the Roman Arena in Piazza Brà (Brà square) downtown (very similar to the Colisseum located in Rome), S.Zeno Church in S.Zeno Square on the far east side of the ancient part of town, one of the most beautiful Romanic style church in Italy, and Piazza Erbe located on an easily walking distance from Piazza Brà. When you are in Piazza Erbe the House of Juliet is very close, but do not mind if you are not able to get in it: it is all a fake businness. Last but not least, I would suggest you to park close to the raiway station (charge) or to the soccer stadium (free of charge) provided you are not gettin in during soccer season and then use the public transportation (bus). Enjoy your visit Ciao Giuseppe
