The Best of NileGuide
- Club Vibes is your complete source to nightlife in Victoria. Pick one up. It includes the latest events, nightclubs, restaurants, pubs, lounges, photos, concerts, tickets and guest lists. For more sedate tastes, the former church sanctuary of Alix Goolden Performance Hall is a circular 19th-century hall named after a woman who contributed to the music school in Victoria. To catch live music that is cheap, Steamers is the place. It features live music seven nights a week. For beer, the best bet is Spinnakers Brewpub. Overlooking Victoria Harbour on the west side of the Songhees Point Development, Spinnakers' view of the harbor and Legislature is fabulous. Few drinking spots are more intriguing - or more enjoyable - than Swans Pub. The intrigue comes from the founding owner's vast Pacific Northwest and First Nations art collection. The Legends is one of the best places to hear live music in Victoria. In this often chilly city, it's good to know that the nightlife offerings are there to step in out of the cold and enjoy.
