- The Akademietheater (Academy Theater) holds 500 theatergoers. The performances are contemporary or classic theater and opera. The small setting is intimate and the acoustics are finetuned for the best quality sound. The Academy Theater has been the second performance space for the Castle Theater since 1922. This was because the castle actors wanted a smaller venue so they could feel closer to their audience.
