• This restaurant serves more than 100,000 diners every year in its huge beer garden in the middle of the Prater, the city's biggest park. The pig's trotters and the freshly drawn Budweiser Budvar beer are legendary. It is an ideal spot to find some shade in the middle of summer and eat to your heart's content. There's always something going on at Schweizerhaus, and the substantial Viennese food and typically loud atmosphere attract as many locals as tourists. It's only open from March to October though, and closed right through winter.
