• On the upper floors of a gray but gracious older building just off the Graben (with the famous Café Hawelka downstairs), this family-run hostelry is attractively done up in Old Vienna style, with lots of plants, dark woods, and nice faux-marble baths. Rooms on the inner court are quieter, though the street in front carries no through traffic. The smaller rooms have modern decor, while the larger rooms are decorated in Biedermeier style.
