Bräunerhof

  • User Review:

    • The Bräunerhof is one of the remaining coffee houses that still offer the Kaffeehaus experience Vienna was built on: not at home but not in the outdoors either (nicht zu Hause und doch nicht an der frischen Luft). You will get an ample supply of newspapers (probably French anf English too) with your coffee. The objective is to "be there" not just to drink the coffee and it's OK to sit at the table for 3 hrs+ with one coffee. People tend to "hold court" and see different people all morning long. Try the Melange and Apple Strudel
