• The "house of the sea" is located very close to the mariahilfer straße, a very busy shopping street in the heart of vienna. The tower was built in the second world war for Anti Air cannons is due to its location and massiveness hard to destruct. The massive tower contains several aquariums and terrariums making it easy to explore a more "exotic" fauna and flora then you can find in austria itself. The house of the sea is an ideal location to spend rainy days and still explore some of the nicest sites in vienna.
