Description:

  • The Minoritenkirche towers over the city of Vienna and is one among many of the historical landmarks the city boasts. The construction of the church was completed in the year 1350 and depicts an unique French Gothic style that reigned during the day. The church's interiors include breathtaking artwork and sculptures that include an unique High Altar, a mosaic of the Last Supper and a monument for renowned poet Pietro Metastasio. The church has often caught the interest of art and architecture buffs of which include Adolf Hitler who depicted the church in one of his paintings. For its rare architecture, artwork and history, Minoritenkirche is a must visit while in the city.
