• This a grand public place which has 3 Museum facilities ( The MUMOK - Museum of Modern Art, the Kunsthalle, and the Sammlung Leopold, which specializes in classical and modern Austrian Art ) all within a transformed stable that was formerly a center of the equestrian cavalry during the heyday of the Austrian Empire. There is a wifi system (free)which is accessible to your laptops. The Kantine Restaurant, which I heartily recommend, is a place where you can pick up the Freewave system and also sit and have excellent salads and omelets and wines. It too is part of the Museums quartier and is located diagonally across from the stairway to the Mumok. It is best to come there and hang out in summer. Of course, the museums and the restaurant are fine when the weather isn't so friendly.
